Is Botox only for cosmetic use, or can it treat pain?

Botox is FDA-approved for the treatment of chronic migraines (15 or more headache days a month). It works by blocking the release of chemicals involved in pain transmission. It is not just cosmetic; it is a highly effective, recognized medical treatment for specific types of chronic pain.
